It’s an exciting time for Shiney Company Bristol, as tomorrow we are signing off the works being completed on our new Bristol bead shop.

After 6 years at Paintworks we are moving (only 5 minutes up the road) to 14 Sandy Park Road, Brislington, Bristol, BS3 4PE.

The new shop is all on one level with a larger shop front and more room for beads and sparkly things. We’ve got a great workshop area and there is lots of free parking, both on-street and in the Council run car park behind the carpet shop, only a 2 minute walk away. In addition, Sandy Park Road has lots of offer, with a variety of local shops and amenities including the Post Office, A-Class Brides, Direct Sewing Machines, McColls Newsagents and the trendy T-Cup Cafe! We can’t wait to become neighbours.

We will keep you posted regarding our official moving date, but it will be before Christmas. In the meantime, Paintworks is open as usual.

Wire-work Coiling Gizmo Bracelet Workshop in Bath

Learn to make bead and wire jewellery at Shiney Company in Bath. We are beginning an evening course on 28th September that will run every Wednesday night up to Christmas. Come along from 6.30pm to 8.30pm for just £20 per session and learn a variety of jewellery making techniques.

The course if great for beginners or jewellery makers looking for new ideas, designs and techniques. The projects are varied and include techniques such as making loops, make wire spirals, using the Coiling Gizmo, professional finishing techniques for strining and wire work, twisting wire and form flower shapes, making ring bands with wire and beads and much much more.

Perfect for making Christmas gifts or a treat for you. Each week you will learn a new technique and make a new style. All materials are included in the price of £20, so you don’t need to budget for materials.

Our jewellery workshop in Bath, is in the rear of our beautiful bead shop and has plenty of light and space to accomodate up to 12 students. We operate a fun, friendly and relaxed environment, where we encourage all our students to develop their creative side. We ask that you book a minimum of 6 consecutive weeks and once you have completed your 6 you can go on to book individual classes or simply keep coming each week.

More classes have been scheduled for Thursday evening Intermediate Level Jewellery making at Shiney Company Bristol. Classes are just £20 per session including materials and cover wirework and beadwork.
