What do you need?

Tools:
Round nose pliers
Snipe nose pliers
Flat nose pliers
Wire cutters

• 1mtr of distressed large link gold chain
• 1 x gold plated large oval clasp with 2 oval jump rings
• 2 x 8.8mm gold plated jump rings
• 6 x gold plated wire guardians
• 6 x gold plated 4mm crimp covers
• 6 x gold hard crimps
• 3 x 60cms of 7 strand 0.18”dia satin copper Beadalon flexible jewellery wire
• 122 x 4mm Crystallized™ – Swarovski Elements Dark Purple pearls
• 82 x 6mm Crystallized™ – Swarovski Elements Mystic Black pearls
• 50 x 6mm Crystallized™ – Swarovski Elements Bordeaux pearls
• 20 x 10mm Crystallized™ – Swarovski Elements Bordeaux pearls

1. Thread a hard crimp onto a 60cm piece of Beadalon wire, then thread it through a wire guardian and back through the crimp. Tighten the wire and squash the crimp firmly. Close a 3mm crimp cover over the crimp, using your snipe nose pliers.
2. String 122 x 4mm Dark Purple pearls followed by a crimp and a wire guardian. Go back through the crimp and pull the wire before squashing the crimp firmly. Snipe off any excess wire and add a crimp cover using your snipe nose pliers.
3. Repeat Step 1 with 82 x 6mm Mystic Black pearls and finish the same way as step 2.
4. Repeat step 1, stringing 25 x 6mm Bordeaux pearls, followed by 20 x 10mm Bordeaux pearls and 25 x 6mm Bordeaux pearls. Finish the same way as before.
5. Double up the gold chain, so that the large and small links sit together. You will have a single small link on one end and a single large link at the other.
6. Open the oval jump ring on the clasp and attach to one end of the chain before closing. Attach the other oval jump ring to the small link the other end.
7. Attach a jump ring to each of the oval jump rings at either end of the necklace.
8. Take the strand of Bordeaux pearls and attach one end to the jump ring and weave in and out of the large links of the chain. Secure at the other end by attaching to the jump ring.
9. Add the 6mm Mystic Black pearl strand to the same jump ring and weave in and out of the small links. Attach to the jump ring the other end.

10.  Add the 4mm Dark Purple pearl strand to the same jump ring and weave in and out of the large links. Attach to the jump ring the other end to complete.
