Another fab CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements Ring

Beadalon Ring Gold

Jet AB2x and Silk

If you have ever visited the CRYSTALLIZED™ store in London’s Great Marlborough Street, near Carnaby Street, you may have spotted a design like this before. We saw it on a recent visit and couldn’t resist having a go ourselves. Here’s how we did it. We thought you might like to try too!

All you need is 1.25 meters of Beadalon 7 Strand 0.18″dia Flexible Jewellery Wire, some 4mm CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements Bicone (5301) or Xilion (5328) beads and a 36 hole Gold Plated Sieve Ring Base. The design on the left is using Jet AB2x and Silk with Gold Colour Beadalon.

Thread the Beadalon wire up through the middle hole of the ring and put a crimp at the back. Add a crystal and through

a hole in the next circle of holes, the back up through the centre, looping the Beadalon wire as you go.  Add another crystal miss a hole and go back up through the next one. Add another crystal and go down through the hole you missed. Weave your way around the holes (there isn’t an exact science to this, you’ll find your own way as you do it), end at the back with another crimp.

Attach the sieve to the base, taking care when you close the prongs not to push the top off the ring!

Try other colours of Beadalon and Crystals. You can produce some great effects.

Have a go and tell us what you think.
