Free Crystal and Pearl Hoop Earrings Tutorial

These fashion statement earrings are quick and easy to make. Perfect for an evening out, you can match the beads with the wire or make an impact with contrasting colours.

Tools

Wire cutters
Snipe nose pliers
Round nose pliers

Materials

2 x Gold plated fish hook ear wires
2 x 2mm Gold plated crimps
2 x 50cm Gold Colour pieces of 7strand 0.18″ Beadalon flexible jewellery wire
A selection of 4mm & 6mm monotone colour CRYSTALLIZED^TM – Swarovski Elements beads and pearls

Step 1
Thread a crimp onto the end of a piece of jewellery wire. Hold the crimp and wire between your thumb and finger approx. 3cm from one end. *Thread on 3-5 beads of your choice on the other end and take it through the crimp in the opposite direction to form a circle.*

Step 2
Adjust the circle to your desired size and repeat from Step 1 from * to * two more times, each time make the circles different sizes to suit your style.

Step 3
Adjust the size of the circles to suit and holding all the wires flat in the crimp, use the snipe nose pliers to squash the crimp and secure the design.

Step 4
Trim the excess wire protruding from either side of the crimp with your wire cutters

Step 5
Using your round nose pliers, grip the loop on the bottom of one of the fish hook ear wires and gentle grip and turn to open the loop. Hook on the earring design near the crimp and close the loop on the ear wire.

Step 6
Repeat Steps 1 to 5, this time adjusting the circles to match the ones previously made.
